  • <p><strong>Abstract</strong></p> <p>Digital media has become a new sensation. Every type of media format is converging into digital media.</p> <p>Even print media formats like newspapers, magazines, and advertisements are converging into digital formats such as digital/social portals, blogs, websites, etc. Even though print media is said to be the most trustworthy traditional media, in this fast-paced generation, it’s considered a delayed medium. The increase in advertisements and less or filler news has been a bane. Digital media is fast-paced, quickly reachable, but due to this, the increase of yellow journalism, click baits, fake news are seen more, so it’s not often taken as an authentic source. While both have their downsides, the purpose of this research is to find which media among Print and digital has more impact on the contemporary generation in terms of credibility and authenticity about news and facts, by using a primary quantitative survey research method. The survey will mainly have target groups consisting of students, service-person, retired, and unemployed consumers, from the age of 18, who are accustomed to both technologies. This investigation will help shed light upon the influence of print media in the convergence era on consumer behavior, to help us identify the potential opportunities and challenges that may arise in the future in the print industry.</p> <p> </p>
