| contents | <p><span>With the development of banks and the modern economy, exposures to various types of risks are increasing more and more. In the<span> </span>increasingly complex conditions<span> </span>of the economy, timely identification of<span> </span>all<span> </span>types<span> </span>of<span> </span>risks<span> </span>and<span> </span>identification<span> </span>of<span> </span>adequate<span> </span>protective<span> </span>measures<span> </span>emerges<span> </span>as<span> </span>a<span> </span>very<span> </span>important<span> </span>factor of the success of banking work.</span></p> <p><span>This paper aims to analyze and assess credit risk as well as the norms influencing loan approval by Commercial<span> </span>Banks<span> </span>in<span> </span>the<span> </span>banking<span> </span>system<span> </span>of<span> </span>the<span> </span>Republic<span> </span>of<span> </span>North<span> </span>Macedonian<span> </span>for<span> </span>the<span> </span>period<span> </span>2016-2021. Considering that mismanagement of<span> </span>loans is<span> </span>a cause<span> </span>of<span> </span>economic crises, increasingly the<span> </span>National Bank makes efforts to establish laws or criteria to preserve banking liquidity. Also, this paper will take into account legal norms, as norms are general condition of the banking contract, and they reserve the bank the right to modify or replace conditions practiced. Loan management is an important segment for any region as it directly affects the country’s economy. The credit risk management system in banks should include policies, procedures, rules, and structures used by banks to manage credit risk.</span></p> |
