- <p><span>One of the synthetic zeolites used in heterogeneous catalysis is zeolite of the mordenite structural type (MOR). Mordenite is stable in acidic environments, so it is widely used as an adsorbent for drying media containing Cl<sub>2</sub> or HCl. The paper describes a method for synthesizing a catalyst based on mordenite and cobaltocene and provides analyses of the resulting compound. The cobalt-based catalyst (cobaltocene) is characterized by a highly developed surface, smooth, uniform surface morphology, and uniform distribution of metal throughout the catalyst.</span></p>
