This study explores the social perspectives and policy implications of leveraging AI for environmental preservation, with a particular focus on inclusivity and equitable access. Using a descriptive research methodology, the study draws on secondary data from governmental reports, academic literature, and industry analyses. Key findings highlight moderate AI adoption in environmental projects, significant rural-urban accessibility gaps, and underdeveloped policy and regulatory frameworks. The study emphasizes the need for policies that ensure equitable AI access and ethical deployment, particularly for marginalized communities. The outcomes suggest that with stronger policy support, inclusive practices, and clearer regulatory standards, AI can be a catalyst for sustainable development in India.
