  • <p><em><span>Educational technology automates assessment tasks and stages. While its effectiveness has been established, there is always a need for novel techniques, as evidenced by educational literature. In this study, we reviewed the literature. On the current state of knowledge and practice for electronic assessment technology. Understanding the positive and negative factors influencing the adoption of ICT in higher education assessment can help develop effective strategies for implementing essessment technologies. This includes determining staff readiness and stakeholder willingness.</span></em></p>
