•

The introduction of social justice in the Somali constitution marks a significant milestone in the country's journey towards ensuring fairness and equality for all its citizens. Historically, Somalia has faced challenges related to clan-based discrimination and regional disparities, which have hindered equitable access to resources, opportunities, and rights. The incorporation of social justice principles into the constitution reflects a commitment to address these issues head- on. It aims to guarantee that all Somalis, regardless of their clan, region, or social status, are treated with dignity and have equal access to justice, education, healthcare, and economic opportunities.
