- <p>Sustainable tea tourism in North Bengal has become a major industry, combining the rich tea culture of the region with contemporary tourism practices. This research examines the historical evolution of tea tourism in the region, highlighting major milestones, economic contributions, and sustainability initiatives over the last two decades. Through the case study of how tea estates evolved from agricultural centers to tourist spots, the study explores how tourism has influenced local economies and societies. It showcases the difficulties of sustaining it with increasing numbers of visitors and development of infrastructure and also points to future opportunities. Based on both qualitative and quantitative approaches, the research examines historical data, visitor numbers, revenue generation, and sustainability indicators, providing insights into the environmental and socio-economic dynamics of tea tourism. This paper seeks to present a holistic understanding of the intersection of historical development and sustainable practices, highlighting the possibilities for long-term development in North Bengal's tea tourism industry</p>
