Since its identification, advancements in eradication therapies have significantly improved patient outcomes. This review discusses recent developments in the management of H. pylori infection, including improved diagnostic techniques, novel treatment regimens, and innovative therapeutic approaches such as nanotechnology-based drug delivery and probiotic applications. Traditional triple therapy is losing efficacy due to rising antibiotic resistance, leading to the adoption of quadruple therapy and emerging therapies such as vonoprazan-based regimens and nanoparticle-based antibiotics. Additionally, the role of non-pharmacological interventions, including lifestyle modifications and dietary changes, is explored. The review highlights the need for personalized treatment strategies, new antimicrobial agents, and innovative drug delivery systems to enhance eradication rates and reduce treatment-related complications.
