Current treatments often focus on symptom management rather than true healing, and for severe cases, invasive surgeries such as colectomies or gastric resections are required.</p> <p>CRISPR technology presents a groundbreaking opportunity to regenerate damaged tissues, correct genetic predispositions to digestive diseases, and restore full functionality to the stomach, intestines, and other digestive organs. This research project outlines a strategy for developing CRISPR-based therapies to heal and regenerate the digestive system at a genetic level.</p>
