- <p>Given the reality of the Yemeni political and military landscape, which has witnessed changes and transformations throughout the years of war, with some forces fading and others rising, a landscape in which the internationally recognized government is suffering from deep and multiple divisions, nearly losing its foundations of legitimacy.<br>In the context of discussing the Yemeni settlement announced by Riyadh as the "roadmap," questions arise about the form and identity of this settlement and the extent of its feasibility.<br>Based on description and analysis, the "case study" paper presents a concise reading of the most important principles of the current Yemeni political landscape and how it was crafted. The paper also examines the strategy for enshrining the "dual strategy" agenda: the return of the General People's Congress (GPC) and leaders of the former regime, led by Brigadier General Ahmed Ali Abdullah Saleh, to power, and the implementation of regional and international agendas to consolidate the power of the Houthi group—with its current strength.</p>
