Junior secondary homonym of <i>Apantesis ochracea</i> Stretch, 1872. — Type locality: [USA], Arizona, Prescott. — Type specimens: Undisclosed number of syntypes (USNM; one syntype labeled Type no. 33 679).</p><p>TYPE LOCALITY. — [USA], Arizona, Prescott.</p><p>TYPE SPECIMEN. — Lectotype male designated by Schmidt (2009c: 541) (AMNH).</p><p>REMARKS</p><p>Schmidt (2009c: 541) invalidated the lectotype designation of <i>Grammia incorrupta</i> proposed by Ferguson & Opler (2006: 11), because the material studied by these authors was not among the syntypes of Edwards conserved in the AMNH. Moreover, the specimen designated by Schmidt is labeled “ Lectotype by A. Watson, 1967”. This designation by Watson was never published.</p><p>Reported from Mexico by Schmidt (2009c: 543).</p>
