- <p>This report describes procedures for compiling the EuroFIR Document Repository consisting of a subset of records within the CiteXplore bibliographic database and associated online full-text documents. The selection of relevant articles in published journals and the creation of new records for other journal articles as well as book and report references are discussed. New records will be added for both current material and retrospectively for references cited in the national databases of EuroFIR compilers.</p> <p>The initial implementation of the document repository in CiteXplore, in December 2008, contained 7937 EuroFIR flagged records. Existing CiteXplore journal article records sourced from Agricola for all articles from the core journals Food Chemistry and Journal of Food Composition and Analysis were included in addition to articles cited in compiler reference lists and new records created for documents relevant to EuroFIR.</p> <p>Possible further developments of these procedures that could offer significant benefits to the EuroFIR AISBL are discussed.</p>
