- <p>This folder comprises finite element numerical models built in PLAXIS 2D (R) using CASM (Clay and Sand Model) and Mohr-Coulomb constitutive models, in drained and undrained conditions. As mentioned in the Read me file the model comprises drained and undrained analyses. </p> <p>Drained: Following the main branch of the phasing, a drained analysis is made by raising the model by 5m with the Mohr-Coulomb constitutive model and having an additional phase to switch this new cluster into CASM.</p> <p>Undrained: For each 5m raising, a branch phase with the materials in undrained conditions is made. Although the 30m phase was able to reach the end of the calculations, it showed such great displacements that a failure can be assumed.</p>
