- <p><i>Buenoa amnigenus</i> (White, 1879)</p><p>Fig. 10 A</p><p><i>Anisops amnigenus</i> White, 1879: 271 [original description].</p><p><i>Buenoa amnigenus</i>; Kirkaldy (1904): 120 [genus transfer].</p><p><b>Diagnosis.</b></p><p>Small species, male length 4.8–5.4 mm. Synthlipsis very narrow, <1 / 10 of vertex width. Labrum sided by pair of tufts of setae. Labial prong slightly longer than third labial article, originating proximally on article. Fore femur without stridulatory area.</p><p><b>Taxonomic notes.</b></p><p>A member of the <i>salutis</i> group. It differs from the most similar species, <i>B. amnigenoidea</i> Nieser, 1970, by the chaetotaxy of the labrum and minor characteristics of the fore trochanter, femur, and tibia. Also, from <i>B. amnigenopsis</i> Nieser, 1975 by the presence of a notch on the apex of the fore femur of this species, which is absent in <i>B. amnigenus</i>. Finally, it can be distinguished from <i>B. salutis</i> based on the larger size, narrower synthlipsis and more pronounced tylus. More detailed comparisons between species of this group can be found in Barbosa and Nessimian (2013 a).</p><p><b>Distribution.</b></p><p>Argentina (Bachmann 1971). Bolivia (Truxal 1953).
