  • <p><em><span lang="UK">This article explores the role of the ethics of care in foreign language teaching as a key factor in creating a supportive educational environment. An approach based on empathy, mutual respect, and support helps reduce language anxiety, increase motivation, and enhance language acquisition. The author examines how the ethics of care contribute</span><span lang="EN-US">s</span><span lang="UK"> to developing intercultural competence, fostering social skills, and critical reflection on cultural differences. Special attention is given to the psychological aspects of learning, particularly the impact of emotional comfort on students’ ability to perceive and use a foreign language. Teachers who apply the ethics of care consider students’ needs, adapting teaching methods to ensure maximum engagement for every learner. The article highlights the importance of integrating ethical approaches into pedagogical practice, which not only facilitates effective language proficiency but also cultivates tolerant and open-minded individuals prepared for intercultural interactions. In the context of globalization and the growing significance of intercultural communication, the ethics of care play a strategic role in language education.</span></em></p>
