-
Acute intestinal infections (AII) remain a significant public health concern, especially among school-aged children. This study investigates the etiological structure of AII by analyzing the role of opportunistic microorganisms in its development. A total of 104 children aged 3 to 14 years suffering from AII were examined through microbiological analysis of fecal samples using standard bacteriological methods. The insights can guide effective diagnosis, treatment, and prevention strategies for acute intestinal infections in pediatric populations.
