- <p><span>The integration of technology into education has become a crucial factor in improving teaching effectiveness and student<br>engagement. This study aims to investigate the role of technology in supporting the implementation of Merdeka Belajar at UPT<br>SMP Negeri 7 Turatea of Jeneponto, focusing on its impact on instructional strategies and student learning outcomes. Utilizing a<br>quantitative research method with a descriptive approach, data were collected using purposive sampling. The validity and<br>reliability of research instruments were tested through exploratory factor analysis (EFA) and Cronbach’s Alpha to ensure accurate<br>measurement and consistency. Findings reveal that technology significantly enhances the teaching-learning process by fostering<br>student engagement, supporting interactive learning, and improving educational accessibility. Various digital tools, online<br>learning platforms, and multimedia resources play a crucial role in promoting independent and student-centered learning.<br>However, challenges such as limited infrastructure, technical difficulties, and digital access disparities hinder seamless<br>implementation. The study highlights the need for comprehensive teacher training and policy support to optimize the integration<br>of technology in the Merdeka Curriculum.</span></p>
