•
We propose a novel cosmological model in which the observed cosmic acceleration is not caused by the expansion of space, but by an entropy-driven shift in the observer’s information resolution.

This "resolution-shift cosmology" replaces spatial expansion with a logarithmic entropy effect:
**f(z) = α log(1 + β z)**,
fitting the Pantheon+ supernova data with high precision.

Key contributions include:
- Elimination of dark energy as a necessary component
- High accuracy reproduction of ΛCDM distance modulus with residuals within ±0.1 mag
- Physical interpretation based on quantum/statistical limits on resolution
- Simplicity, falsifiability, and information-theoretic clarity

We include four figures (model curve, comparison with ΛCDM, residuals, and parameter table), and an extended discussion on the physical motivation. This work opens a new paradigm where the illusion of expansion arises not from geometry—but from **information loss at cosmic scales**.
