Mainstream platforms like Facebook and LinkedIn offer global reach but lack the contextual focus, privacy, and user role segregation required in a campus setting. In response to this gap, this project presents Vibely - a full-stack, role-based social media web application designed specifically for college students and alumni.

Vibely offers two distinct user experiences based on verified roles. Students can create posts, engage in academic discussions, personalize their profiles, and interact with peers. Alumni, after verification, are granted access to an exclusive dashboard where they can post job openings, share internship opportunities, and offer mentorship. This dual-role functionality transforms Vibely into a hybrid platform that supports both community interaction and career advancement.

The platform was developed using the Django framework (Model-View-Template architecture) on the backend, coupled with HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, and JavaScript for the frontend. Key features include secure user authentication, responsive design, real-time feed updates, profile management, and job board functionalities. Role-based access control and CSRF-protected forms ensure data privacy and system integrity.

Vibely demonstrates not only the successful application of full-stack development practices but also how thoughtful software design can address real-world communication and engagement challenges in academic institutions.

Keywords - Social Media, Django, Campus Network, Role-Based Access, Alumni Portal, Web Application
