  • <p>The subject of this study is the application of international change management experience<br>to develop effective tools for selecting strategies for construction enterprises. In the modern era of<br>globalization and dynamic business environment changes, construction companies face the need to<br>adapt to new challenges, implement innovative approaches, and ensure sustainable development.<br>Change management is a key aspect of strategic management, enabling enterprises to respond<br>flexibly to external and internal influencing factors.<br>This research encompasses an analysis of international experience in implementing changes<br>in the construction industry, the adaptation of effective methods and tools to the conditions of the<br>Ukrainian market, and the development of practical recommendations for selecting optimal strategies<br>for enterprises. The development of relevant tools will enhance the competitiveness of construction<br>companies, mitigate risks in change management, and ensure their long–term efficiency.<br>The aim of this article is to substantiate approaches to utilizing international change management<br>experience for creating effective tools for construction enterprise strategy selection. In modern<br>market conditions, adaptation to change is a key success factor. Therefore, this study focuses on<br>analyzing advanced change management practices, their application in the construction sector, and<br>the possibilities of integrating them into the Ukrainian context. The proposed tools will contribute<br>to enhancing enterprise competitiveness, optimizing managerial decision–making, and effectively<br>responding to market dynamics. The research findings will assist in developing strategic models that<br>ensure the sustainable development of the industry.<br>The research methodology is based on a comprehensive approach that combines theoretical and<br>empirical methods of analysis. The study includes a critical review of scientific sources on international<br>change management experience, enabling the identification of key concepts, models, and approaches<br>to strategic management in construction enterprises. To determine effective mechanisms for adapting<br>to change, the study analyzes the experience of leading countries in the construction sector, including<br>the use of digital technologies, flexible management methods, and strategic planning.<br>The research employs a comparative analysis of global change management practices in the<br>construction industry. This approach allows for an assessment of their effectiveness, identification of<br>advantages and limitations, and selection of the most optimal strategies that can be adapted to national<br>conditions. An important aspect of the study is the examination of the operational characteristics of<br>construction enterprises in Ukraine and an analysis of their capacity to implement international best<br>practices. For this purpose, SWOT and PEST analyses are used to evaluate the impact of external and<br>internal factors on the strategic management process.</p> <p>The practical part of the study involves the development of tools for selecting construction enterprise<br>strategies based on the obtained theoretical findings and analytical data. The modeling method is<br>applied to forecast the effectiveness of various strategic scenarios, allowing the identification of the<br>most promising approaches to change management. Additionally, expert evaluation methods are used,<br>engaging industry specialists to determine the most realistic ways to implement international practices.<br>The research findings will contribute to the development of new approaches to change management<br>in construction enterprises, enhancing their adaptability to market conditions, minimizing risks,<br>and improving competitiveness. The proposed strategy selection tools can be utilized by enterprise<br>managers and strategic management professionals to optimize management processes and ensure<br>the long–term development of companies.<br>The study identified key approaches to change management in construction enterprises applied at<br>the international level and assessed their effectiveness under various economic conditions. The analysis<br>of global practices allowed for the identification of essential strategic planning tools, including business<br>process digitalization, adaptive management, the application of Agile and Lean methodologies, and the<br>implementation of innovative risk management approaches. The findings indicate that successful change<br>management in the construction industry requires a comprehensive approach that integrates market<br>factor analysis, strategic forecasting, and the development of alternative development scenarios.<br>A SWOT analysis of Ukraine’s construction sector revealed its strengths and weaknesses in<br>adapting to change, as well as key external threats and opportunities. Based on the collected data,<br>practical tools for selecting construction enterprise strategies were developed, enabling the effective<br>integration of international experience into the Ukrainian context. These tools include decision–making<br>algorithms, risk assessment methodologies, and recommendations for optimizing internal processes.<br>The proposed approaches will contribute to enhancing the competitiveness of construction companies,<br>strengthening their resilience to market fluctuations, and creating conditions for the sustainable<br>development of the industry.<br>The study substantiated the significance of utilizing international change management experience in<br>forming effective strategies for construction enterprises. The analysis of global practices confirmed<br>that adaptability, digitalization, and strategic forecasting are key factors in the successful development<br>of the industry in a dynamic market environment. The research demonstrated that construction<br>enterprises actively implementing modern change management methods—such as Agile, Lean, and<br>flexible strategic models—are better equipped to respond to crises and emerging challenges.<br>The findings indicate that Ukraine’s construction sector requires the development of strategy<br>selection tools that incorporate both international experience and the specifics of the local market.<br>The conducted SWOT analysis identified the strengths and weaknesses of enterprises, as well as<br>promising directions for their transformation. The proposed strategic decision–making algorithms<br>and risk management methodologies will contribute to improving the competitiveness of companies.<br>Thus, the implementation of adapted international practices will enable construction enterprises not<br>only to effectively respond to modern market challenges but also to create conditions for sustainable<br>development and long–term success in the industry.</p>
