Lullabies are among the oldest forms of oral folklore, and they play an important role in child rearing and cultural transmission. The study examines the themes, structure, linguistic features, and emotional tone of lullabies from both cultures. Uzbek lullabies frequently reflect traditional values, protection, and the mother's emotional attachment to the child, whereas English lullabies typically employ symbolic imagery and a soothing rhythm. The study reveals that, despite cultural differences, both traditions have the same goal: to comfort and calm children. This comparative analysis contributes to a better understanding of the emotional and cultural world of lullabies, demonstrating how language and music can be used universally for parental care and emotional bonding.
