I. 2., <i>Tinotus cavicollis,</i> Sharp’’ / ‘‘Lectotype’’ (white disc with purple border) / ‘‘LECTOTYPE, <i>Tinotus cavicollis</i> Sharp, desig. R. S. Hanley 2000’’] (<b>here designated</b>). Lectotype designation is justified under article 74.1.1 of the ICZN (1999) in order to fix the status of this specimen as the sole name­bearing type of this species.</p><p><b>Type Locality.</b> GUATEMALA: Guatemala City.</p>
