  • <p>This document proposes the name <strong>WISPON</strong> for a hypothetical fifth-force mediator particle suggested by recent isotope shift anomalies in calcium atoms. “WISPON” combines metaphorical subtlety (“wisp”) with conventional particle naming (“-on”) to describe a faint, weakly interacting boson that may mediate a force between neutrons and electrons. While “WISP” is often used to describe ultralight dark matter candidates, WISPON is offered both as a symbolic placeholder and a conceptually resonant label regardless of ultimate mass scale. This naming is a cultural contribution, not a scientific claim of discovery.</p> <p>This proposal falls within the domain of theoretical physics, with particular relevance to high-energy phenomenology and fifth-force searches beyond the Standard Model.</p>
