- <p><span>Rabindranath Tagore, one of the greatest luminaries of Bengali literature, and his literary creations are not merely modern; rather, both he and his literary oeuvre, in many ways, transcend the frontiers of modernity. Rabindranath Tagore is that eternal creator whose works have surpassed the limitations of time to attain timelessness. One such eternal theme in literature is love, and in the expression of the consciousness of love, Tagore's literary oeuvre reflects a profoundly modern intellect.
