- <p><b><i>Perognathus flavescens</i> Merriam, 1889</b></p><p>Plains Pocket Mouse</p><p><i>Perognathus flavescens</i> is distributed in northwestern Oklahoma, although there is a single record from Harmon County in southwestern Oklahoma (Martin and Preston 1969). Since Caire et al. 1989), new specimen county records have been reported for Cimarron (Dalquest et al. 1990) and Beaver and Ellis (Roehrs et al. 2008) counties.
