Group Belqat, UAE- FST.</p><p><i>General distribution.</i> This species is common and widely distributed in Europe (Omelková & Ježek, 2012). In North Africa, it is known from Algeria (Satchell, 1955) and Morocco (Afzan & Belqat, 2016).</p><p><i>Habitat.</i> The adults are found in damp places from lowlands to mountains. We collected the species in a forest of <i>Pinus halepensis</i>, with <i>Chamaerops humilis</i> and <i>Urginea maritima</i> (Fig. 5).</p><p><i>Comment.</i> A description of the adult was given by Ježek (1985).</p>
