Inhoudsopgave:
-
LAZISMU West Kalimantan (Kalbar) plays a strategic role in alleviating poverty and building community economic resilience through optimal and sustainable management of Zakat, Infaq, Sedekah, and Waqf (ZISWAF) funds. As part of the national zakat organization founded by PP Muhammadiyah since 2002 and officially recognized by the Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, LAZISMU West Kalimantan manages ZISWAF funds from various sources, including individuals, foundations, businesses, and other organizations, with the aim of empowering communities productively. The ZISWAF fund management approach at LAZISMU West Kalimantan does not only focus on traditional fund distribution, but also develops innovative and adaptive community empowerment models. One of the flagship programs is Infaq Savings, where donors set aside funds regularly which are then collected and distributed to mustahik (beneficiaries). This program is supported by a fund pickup system directly from donors' homes, thus facilitating collection and increasing community participation. In addition, LAZISMU West Kalimantan runs various economic empowerment programs, such as entrepreneurship training for those eligible to receive benefits, small business mentoring, and the Skilled Community (MASTER) program, which aims to sustainably improve the economic capacity of beneficiaries. These programs are designed with intensive coaching to ensure that beneficiaries not only receive capital assistance but also become independent and economically developed.
