•
This paper offers a geometric reinterpretation of the Higgs scalar field using closed surface theory. It proposes that each scalar value corresponds to a fully closed and self-interfering vector surface—termed a closed surface unit—with zero net circulation. Matter, mass, and volume are redefined as integrals over such surfaces, and scalar fields are no longer abstract values distributed in empty space but geometric entities bearing density patterns and resonance frequencies. In this framework, the frequency ν becomes the only observable absolute, and it is measurable only when the surface is fully closed. The Higgs mechanism, traditionally framed around a scalar field permeating vacuum, is thus reformulated as a structured stack of resonant closed surfaces, unifying scalar quantity, field closure, and mass generation under a single geometric ontology.

Author: Tetsuo Konno(今野哲夫)
ORCID: https://orcid.org/0009-0002-1842-7865
