- <p>This paper introduces Ascendant Achievement as a conceptual pillar within the TARMA model of interpersonal flourishing. Defined as the relational realisation of hope, Ascendant Achievement occurs when individuals co-activate one another’s agency (willpower) and pathways (waypower) through shared visioning, affirmation, and collaborative goal pursuit. Drawing on Snyder’s (2002) Hope Theory and extending insights from the Michelangelo Phenomenon (Drigotas et al., 1999), this paper reframes hope as not solely an internal process, but a dynamic, co-regulated experience embedded in flourishing relationships. Ascendant Achievement is differentiated from both intrapersonal models of hope and unidirectional sculpting frameworks by its emphasis on reciprocal agency, shared momentum, and goal co-construction. In this view, individuals become more capable of achieving their futures because they share them.</p> <p> </p> <p> </p>
