Paraná: Jaguariaíva, 5 February 1910, <i>P.H.K.Dusén 9187</i> (GH [GH00589132], digital image!; isolectotypes G [G00222849], digital image!; S [S-R-875], digital image!).</p><p>Bueno & Heiden (2022b) proposed the new status and combination of <i>Calea subintegerrima</i> with a description, mapped occurrence, and morphological comparisons.While designating the lectotype, they cited an incorrect collection number (9189) but the correct barcode number (GH00589132), so that the lectotypification was unambiguous and therefore effective. Pruski (2023) rectified this citation error by indicating that the correct collection number is P.H.K. Dusén 9187.</p><p>Pruski (2023) claimed that this combination is invalid because the “basionym literature reference” was “incorrect”. However, the reference was complete and correct, except for the lacking journal series number (ser. 3), which does not make the citation ambiguous because the publication year indicates the series.</p>
