  • <p><strong><span>Abstract:</span></strong></p> <p><a name="_Hlk507536798"></a><span>This study examined the pharmacologically active components of the leaf extract of <em>Adathoda vasica,</em> a medicinal plant. The study focuses on vasicinone and vasicinine, while also detecting other phytochemicals and measuring biomolecules such as glucose, protein, total carbohydrate, and reducing sugars. Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy is employed to analyse the leaf extract, confirming the presence of vasicinone and vasicine, which are effective in treating cardiovascular diseases. Additionally, the research explores the synthesis of copper nanoparticles using <em>Adathoda vasica </em>leaf extract, which serves as both a stabilizer and reducing agent in the process. Subsequently, the synthesized nanoparticles undergo analysis and confirmation using UV-VIS spectroscopy and Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy techniques.</span></p>
