-
Abstract

Climate change has emerged as one of the greatest global health challenges of the 21st century. Rising temperatures, extreme weather events, air pollution, and shifting patterns of infectious diseases directly and indirectly affect human health. Vulnerable populations, including children, the elderly, and communities in low and middle income countries, are at greater risk of malnutrition, heat related illnesses, and the spread of vector borne diseases. In addition, climate related disruptions to food systems, water supply, and healthcare infrastructure intensify existing health inequalities. This study highlights the urgent need for integrating climate change adaptation strategies into public health policies to protect communities and build resilience. Addressing climate change is not only an environmental priority but also a critical step toward safeguarding global health.
