-
This work presents a comprehensive study of quantum biology, exploring how fundamental quantum phenomena – superposition, coherence, tunneling, and entanglement – shape the essential processes of life. The chapters cover photosynthesis, enzymatic catalysis, olfaction, avian magnetoreception, mitochondria, DNA, the human brain, and forest ecosystems.

The study demonstrates that biological functions cannot be fully explained without quantum processes and proposes the Quantum Information Framework of Form (QIFF) as a unifying model. According to QIFF, life emerges from successive quantum collapses that reduce infinite possibilities into concrete biological forms, upon which macroscopic processes are built.

The aim is to show the deep interconnectedness of physics and biology and to argue that the foundation of life has been quantum from the very beginning.
