-
This preprint introduces the Quantum of Coherence (Qₐ) as a minimal structural pattern associated with transitions in coherence dynamics. Within the TIE framework, coherence trajectories exhibit recurrent Stability–Break–Repair (S–B–R) sequences, which may be interpreted as candidate units of perspectival change.

Rather than assuming infinite divisibility, this work explores the possibility that coherence transitions occur in structured segments defined by threshold crossings (Φ). A computational illustration using TIE–Dialog is provided to demonstrate how such patterns can be identified in conversational data.

The proposal is exploratory and intended to motivate further empirical investigation, including potential connections with cognitive and neurophysiological markers of integration and repair.
