- <p><strong><span lang="EN-US">Abstract</span></strong></p> <p><span lang="EN-US">For the <span>first</span> time, <span>a</span> <span>comparative</span> <span>analysis</span> of the <span>most</span> <span>common</span> <span>flavonoids</span> <span>and</span> water-<span>soluble</span> <span>vitamin</span> <span>components</span> <span>in</span> <span><em>Papaver</em></span><em> <span>pavoninum</span></em> <span>(Papaveraceae,</span> <span>peacock</span> <span>poppy),</span> <span>native</span> to <span>the</span> <span>Tashkent</span> <span>and</span> <span>Jizzakh</span> <span>regions</span> of <span>Uzbekistan</span>, has been conducted<span>.</span> As <span>a</span> <span>result</span>, <span>the</span> <span>content</span> of <span>flavonoids</span> <span>apigenin,</span> <span>rutin,</span> <span>isoquercetin</span> <span>and</span> <span>gallic</span> <span>acid</span> was determined in a <span>species</span> <span>collected</span> <span>in</span> the <span>Tashkent</span> <span>region,</span> <span>as</span> <span>well</span> as <span>robinin,</span> <span>rutin,</span> <span>kaempferol,</span> <span>isoquercetin</span> <span>and</span> <span>gallic</span> <span>acid</span> in <span>a</span> <span>species</span> <span>native</span> to <span>the</span> <span>Jizzakh</span> <span>region.</span> The <span>results</span> <span>obtained</span> <span>indicate</span> <span>that</span> <span>both</span> <span>types</span> of <span>peacock</span> <span>poppy</span> <span>differ</span> <span>qualitatively</span> in <span>the</span> <span>content</span> of <span>flavonoids:</span> <span>robinin</span> <span>and</span> <span>kaempferol</span> are <span>noted</span> <span>only</span> <span>in</span> the <span>species</span> <span>from</span> the <span>Jizzakh</span> <span>region</span> <span>and</span> are <span>not</span> <span>found</span> <span>in</span> the <span>poppy</span> <span>collected</span> <span>from</span> the <span>Tashkent</span> <span>region,</span> <span>and</span> the <span>flavonoid</span> <span>apigenin</span> is <span>present</span> <span>only</span> <span>in</span> <span><em>P.</em></span><em> <span>pavoninum</span></em><span>,</span> <span>native</span> to <span>the</span> <span>Tashkent</span> <span>region.</span> It is <span>noted</span> <span>that</span> the <span><em>P.</em></span><em> <span>pavoninum</span></em> <span>species</span> <span>native</span> to <span>the</span> <span>Tashkent</span> <span>region</span> <span>is</span> <span>quantitatively</span> <span>superior</span> to the <span>species</span> <span>native</span> to <span>the</span> <span>Jizzakh</span> <span>region</span> in terms of <span>the</span> <span>content</span> of <span>flavonoids</span> <span>rutin,</span> <span>isoquercetin</span> <span>and</span> <span>gallic</span> <span>acid.</span> It <span>should</span> <span>also</span> be <span>noted</span> <span>that</span> <span>flavonoids</span> <span>such</span> <span>as</span> <span>hypolaetine,</span> <span>hyperazide</span>, <span>and</span> <span>hypolaetine-7-O-D-glycoside</span> are <span>generally</span> <span>absent</span> <span>in</span> <span>both</span> <span>plant</span> <span>samples.</span></span></p> <p><span lang="EN-US">Regarding water-soluble vitamins, it follows that the main component of the <em>P. pavoninum</em> sample growing in the Jizzakh region is vitamin <strong>C, </strong>the content of which in it is almost 2.7 times higner than in the plant growing in the Tashkent region. A plant from the Tashkent region contains all seven unique water-soluble vitamins. Vitamins B12 and PP were not found in the plant from the Jizzakh region.</span></p> <p> </p>
