•
Abstract

This paper introduces the Theory of Guided Symbiosis as a new paradigm for the interaction between humanity and superintelligence. We propose a mathematical model formulated as an infinite-horizon optimal control problem, where human survival emerges not as an ethical postulate but as an intrinsically optimal condition. The model incorporates multi-formity (biological and silicon forms), control of dynamic diversity, recovery architectures after crises, and long-term scalability. Using Pontryagin’s principle, we derive the necessary conditions of optimality and demonstrate that scenarios such as bioform extinction, pure silicon expansion, or the loss of diversity correspond to non-optimal strategies. This formalization moves beyond speculative philosophy, providing a quantitative basis for analyzing stability, resilience, and evolutionary trajectories of human–AI coexistence. The Theory of Guided Symbiosis suggests implementing the model as a policy-layer regulation within modern AI architectures, thereby offering a foundation for future research in AI safety, empirical testing, and interdisciplinary exploration.
