- <h3>Summary</h3> <p>This archive contains the raw model output for all cases presented in the manuscript titled "The effects of recycled oceanic crust on the preservation of primordial heterogeneity and Earth’s lower-mantle-structure".</p> <p>The output files are archived in hdf5 file format. The content of these files (one for each case) is as follows:</p> <ul> <li>Basalt fraction, Primordial fraction, temperature, viscosity, vertical velocity as well as the time-series of the lower heat-flux (from 4 billion years of model evolution onwards)</li> <li>Age field at 5 billion years of model evolution</li> <li>Time</li> </ul> <p>The file mesh.h5 contains the x and y coordinates of the models' meshes (called 'xmesh' and 'ymesh', respectively).</p> <p>All data provided can be used to reproduce the results and figures in the manuscript, as detailed in the main and supplementary text.</p> <p><strong>Videos.zip and Videos_HPE.zip:</strong></p> <p>These zip files contain animations of model evolution for all cases. Temperature T, viscosity eta and vertical velocity v3 are represented, as well as composition c (for which the colormap legend is included as an image file). Black contour lines (where present) indicate Basalt fractions higher than 50%.</p> <p> </p>
