•
This monograph takes the energy quantum theory as its core, aiming to construct a unified framework for physics and philosophy to explore the profound laws governing the ontology, evolution, and fate of the universe. The energy quantum theory originates from a systematic reflection on fundamental cosmic phenomena—particles, forces, and structure formation—proposing energy as the sole essence of the universe. Through the dynamic interplay of mass quanta (e.g., quarks, leptons) and energy quanta (e.g., photons, potential gravitons), it drives the complex evolution from microscopic random collisions to macroscopic galaxy formation. This theory not only seeks to unify the four fundamental forces (strong, weak, electromagnetic, and gravitational) and their possible extensions (e.g., forces related to dark matter and dark energy) but also redefines time and space—time as a measure of energy change and space as a measure of energy intensity—offering philosophy a novel cosmological perspective.

Central questions permeate the book: Can the universe be reduced to the dynamic expression of energy? How do time and space emerge from the exchange of energy quanta and the aggregation of mass quanta? Is there a limit to the growth of cosmic complexity, or does it achieve dynamic equilibrium within energy cycles? These questions not only concern the unified theory of physics but also touch on fundamental philosophical issues: the nature of existence, process, complexity, and the fate of the universe.

The innovation of the energy quantum theory lies in the following points:

Energy Monism: Through Einstein’s mass-energy equivalence \( E = mc^2 \) and Planck’s formula \( \Delta E = hf \), mass quanta (e.g., quarks, leptons) and energy quanta (e.g., photons, potential gravitons) are unified as different forms of energy, transcending the traditional matter-spirit dualism.
Dynamic Definition of Time and Space: Time is defined as a measure of energy change, and space as a manifestation of energy density gradients, challenging Newton’s absolute spacetime and Einstein’s relative spacetime, emphasizing the dynamic nature of the universe.
Periodic Table Paradigm: Proposes a periodic table of energy and mass quanta, classified by frequency (or equivalent frequency), predicting new particles and continuing the phenomenon-driven scientific tradition.
Density Gradient Mechanism: Forces (especially gravity) arise from the tendency of energy quantum density gradients \( \nabla \rho \) toward homogenization, unifying microscopic (quantum exchange) and macroscopic (galaxy formation) phenomena.
Nonlinear Evolution and Complexity: Positive feedback mechanisms drive the transition from microscopic randomness to macroscopic inevitability, with local entropy reduction and global entropy increase forming a dialectical balance, revealing the emergence logic of cosmic complexity.

Interdisciplinary Significance:
The energy quantum theory is not only an attempt to unify physics but also a revolutionary exploration in philosophy. It bridges particle physics (standard model), cosmology (galaxy formation, dark energy), complex systems science (life, consciousness), and philosophy (monism, process philosophy). Through phenomenon-driven periodic table predictions and quantifiable density gradient mechanisms, the theory provides guidance for the discovery of new particles and the exploration of cosmic fate. Through its dynamic view of time and space and the logic of complexity evolution, it injects new vitality into metaphysics and the philosophy of science.
