•
The Practice Book for Bangsamoro Young Learners was born out of a deep love for teaching and a heartfelt desire to help our young learners take their first joyful steps in learning. As a teacher who has witnessed the bright curiosity in every Bangsamoro child, I wanted to create a simple yet meaningful material that would guide them in discovering the world of letters, numbers, and faith with excitement and confidence.
This book includes Reading Readiness, Number Readiness, and Arabic Readiness — essential areas that prepare children for formal schooling and for life. Each activity is thoughtfully designed to make learning enjoyable and engaging, encouraging children to explore, imagine, and express themselves freely.
The Reading Readiness parts aim to help children recognize sounds, read simple words, and speak with confidence and understanding. The Number Readiness section introduces counting, patterns, and problem-solving in playful ways. The Arabic Readiness part gently guides learners to know the Arabic letters and words, nurturing both their mind and spirit through lessons rooted in faith.
This book is not just a collection of exercises — it is a labor of love for the Bangsamoro child. It is my humble contribution to our shared dream of quality, faith-based, and inclusive education. I hope it becomes a helpful companion to teachers, parents, and guardians who continue to light the path of learning for our little ones.
May every page spark joy, curiosity, and hope — and remind us that every child’s first lesson begins with love, patience, and faith.
