This evolution necessitates a re-evaluation of defense strategies globally and particularly in Europe, demanding significant investments in effective anti-drone capabilities. The article analyzes key lessons from the Ukrainian conflict, explores the role of the EU's Readiness 2030 Program in addressing these challenges, and proposes a specific strategy for Romania to bolster its air defense through the domestic development of advanced anti-drone ammunition and systems. The proposed ammunition and system offer significant advantages in combating drone swarms compared to existing technologies. Developing these domestic capabilities is crucial for ensuring national sovereignty and reducing dependence on imports.  </p>
