- <p>The paper discusses issues related to the translation of agricultural terminology in the AGROVOC Multilingual Thesaurus of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations into Belarusian and Russian. The analysis highlights cases where a focus on Russian equivalents may lead to incorrect translations and distortion of the original terminological units. Using specific examples, the approaches employed by the author during the development of the Belarusian part of the thesaurus are demonstrated.</p>
