- <p dir="auto">This release comprises the document – <em>2-Plasma Focus Drive.pdf </em>– presenting the Plasma Focus Drive (PFD), a path-compression propulsion concept that utilises a super-dense magneto-plasma sheath as a dynamic inertial frame. By recursively shaping the plasma density gradient, the effective path length experienced by the vessel is reduced while remaining within local light-speed limits, yielding conservative effective velocities of 100–1000 c with theoretical upper bound ≈ 10 000 c. </p> <p dir="auto">Core mechanism: variable-density plasma acts as a “moving medium” whose local refractive properties for spacetime are engineered via the thermal-gravity bridge and high-field containment.
