Cases of political corruption are primarily drawn from open sources and academic literature, with a geographical representation of events that occurred in 15 different countries in Europe and beyond. The dataset reports a wide range of features and characteristics of the included episodes of corruption, including actor types, sub-types of corruption, legal and informal consequences faced, the means by which it was uncovered, and the involvement of digital technologies. </span></p>
