- This paper delves into the decomposition theorems for twisted root systems and explores their profound applications in representation theory. We establish novel decomposition results for twisted affine root systems, extending classical results from finite and affine root systems. These decompositions are then leveraged to analyze the structure of representations of twisted affine Lie algebras, providing insights into their irreducible modules and character formulas. Furthermore, we investigate the connections between these decompositions and the geometry of flag varieties associated with twisted groups. The results presented provide a unified framework for understanding the representation theory of twisted algebraic structures.
