-
Paper X extends Radial Coherential Dynamics beyond vortices and leptons by deriving quarks as monopoles (point defects) in the coherential gradient field ∇C. The three “colors” of QCD arise as the three independent orientations of monopoles in three-dimensional space—a geometric consequence of d = 3 established in earlier RCD work.
This framework naturally explains:

Three colors (three spatial directions),

Confinement (isolated monopoles have infinite energy),

Fractional electric charge via shared vortex winding,

SU(3) as the symmetry of gradient-orientation rotations,

Asymptotic freedom from gradient stiffness at short distances.

RCD reproduces correct orders of magnitude for αs(mZ), string tension, mass ratios, and proton–neutron mass differences. Combined with Paper IX, this completes the fermionic sector of the coherential Standard Model.
