-
This work derives a triadic persistence kernel governing all coherent, selecting, and instantiated systems. Beginning from the minimal conditions required for intelligible inquiry, it demonstrates that any system capable of persistence must instantiate Pattern, bifurcated Intent (continuous selection × binary commitment), and Presence in a multiplicative relation.

Independent derivations from reasoning, systems theory, category theory, and physics converge on the same kernel, which is shown to be unique up to isomorphism and terminal in the category of persistence-preserving abstractions. The work establishes the kernel as a structural necessity for coherence while explicitly rejecting any collapse of explanatory necessity into justificatory, theological, political, or normative claims.
