- <p>This article explores issues related to the concept of the punctuation system in global linguistics. Analyzing the system of punctuation marks essentially means analyzing written speech. From this perspective, identifying similarities and differences in analogous punctuation systems across different languages of the world is of great importance for theoretical linguistics, as the punctuation system represents a unique level of each language. Punctuation marks function as a subsystem that regulates written speech within the framework of the or thographic rules of each national language. The analytical study of the punctuation system is closely linked to existing theoretical problems in the syntax of language. This article provides a detailed examination of the concept of the punctuation system, along with an analysis of the methodological and theoretical aspects of punctuation theory.</p>
