- <p>This document presents an independent, mechanism-first physical proposal addressing the physical origin of mass, inertia, and gravitation. Without introducing new particles, forces, dimensions, or mathematical formalisms, the work interprets these phenomena as arising from persistent vacuum constraint states (“boundaries”) that modify the local availability of vacuum modes. Mass is described as spectral constraint strength, inertia as resistance to reconfiguration of constrained vacuum states during acceleration, and gravitation as a vacuum pressure differential generated by cumulative constraint gradients. The proposal is grounded in established empirical facts (including vacuum boundary effects) and is explicitly framed as a conceptual foundation rather than a complete physical theory. It is intended for independent archiving and future quantitative or experimental investigation and includes a clear falsifiability condition.</p>
