  • <p>Fire presents very serious and always open problem. Elimination of fire must be fast and effective, with, as much as possible, minimal risk related to humans and material properties. Of course, the best way for this is prevention and prediction. Fire detectors present devices that can detect fire at early stage and they present the best way of prevention and prediction. Fire detectors can be installed and arranged in object related to valid standard. Very often, there are different standards that deal with the same problem. Because of this and because of many different technical problems, the installation of fire detectors, in particular in the special cases. Very effective solution for this problem can be simulation of fire with fire detectors in appropriate simulation software. This paper was written to show the use of FDS software with its graphical environment Pyrosim in the analyses of fire detectors behaviour under fire.</p>
