From a veterinary perspective, however, calving is not an endpoint but the beginning of a critical reproductive phase. Field veterinarians often observe that cows experiencing difficult calving continue to show fertility problems long after apparent recovery. This recurring pattern supports an important yet under-discussed concept in veterinary gynaecology: the uterus does not simply return to normal after injury or infection, it remembers.</span></p>
